Frog Night is a traditional and well-known gastronomic event held in the village of Zmijavci. The diverse gastronomic offer includes various frog specialties, as well as eel and river crayfish dishes. This unique culinary experience is complemented by an accompanying music program. In addition, the bravest visitors have the opportunity to jump into the nearby canal in search of frogs, which can bring them valuable prizes.
The event is dedicated to the frog, a delicacy that has nourished many generations of the people of Zmijavci. It is traditionally held at the end of July. In 2022, a monument dedicated to the frog, the symbol of Zmijavci, was unveiled at the event location.
