Theatre Encounters "Actors in Zagvozd" is a theatre festival that has been held since 1998. This summer festival takes place every year in July and August in the village of Zagvozd and has been recognized as one of the ten best and most original projects in Southeast Europe. Since its establishment, the festival has hosted numerous theatre groups and drama actors, as well as cultural and artistic societies and musicians. The founder, organizer, and long-time artistic director of the festival is the actor Vedran Mlikota.
