Imotska Sila is a traditional summer cultural festival that has been held in Imotski since 1976.
The festival was launched on July 4, the birthday of the renowned Imotski poet Tin Ujević, and throughout July and August it offers a rich program of theatre performances, concerts, exhibitions, literary evenings, and other cultural events. The festival was conceived by theatre actor Ilija Zovko.
Today, the festival is organized by the Public Open University of Imotski, with the aim of enriching the city's summer cultural life and bringing art closer to both local residents and visitors.
In 2026, the festival celebrates its 50th anniversary. The anniversary edition was opened with the play "Francuzica", based on a text by Ilija Zovko.
