Split

Split is located approximately 90 kilometers from the Municipality of Podbablje, making it an easily accessible destination for a day trip or a weekend visit. As the second-largest city in Croatia and the largest city in Dalmatia, Split combines rich history, a Mediterranean lifestyle, and a modern urban rhythm.
The city’s most famous landmark is Diocletian’s Palace, one of the best-preserved Roman palaces in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today, its walls are home to squares, shops, restaurants, and private residences, making it a living part of the city. Other important landmarks include the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, the Peristyle Square, the Riva promenade, and Marjan Hill.
Split is known for its relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle, seaside walks, gatherings in city squares, and the lively atmosphere of its old streets. The city is also an important cultural, university, sports, and economic center, hosting numerous events and festivals throughout the year.
The combination of history, culture, the sea, and Mediterranean charm makes Split one of the most recognizable cities on the Croatian coast.
